lasimaalaus is a dream pop duo based in Vienna, formed by two friends with a shared interest in introspective poetry and music. Inspired by the collection of poems Lasimaalaus (“glass painting”) by Aila Meriluoto (1924-2019), their songs capture melancholic immersion and homesickness, but also serene joy and quiet optimism. Most of the lyrics are based on poems written in Finnish more or less a century ago. The music is created by layering electric guitars and vocals with influences ranging from dreampop to shoegaze, post-rock, trip-hop and new wave.

Shaped by the Dutch Tekno scene, MØRAYA is recognized for her unfiltered energy behind the decks. Drawing from Breakbeat, Jungle, Latina Bounce and Hard Trance, she’s driven by heavy bass and experimental melodies. Music that makes you feel something in your chest.

Moving through a still male-dominated scene, MØRAYA plays for the joy of sharing music and creating spaces of connection where especially FLINTA* audiences are encouraged to step forward, move freely and take up space. It’s less about dancing “right” and more about dancing real. An invitation to leave your ego at the door, lose yourself in the music and let your limbs do their weird, wonderful thing.
