Ziel des Workshop ist es das Material Ton auf freie, individuelle Art kennenzulernen. Ein bisschen drehen / töpfern auf der Scheibe, modellieren und wer mag auch noch mit eingefärbtem flüssigem Ton (Engobe) die rohe Keramik anmalen. Dabei stehen uns drei Drehscheiben und sechs Arbeitsplätze zur verfügung. Eurer Phantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt.

Die fertigen Objekte werden dann roh-gebrannt, transparent glasiert und nochmal bei 1240°C in hochwertiges Steinzeug verwandelt. Ein paar Tage danach bekommt ihr dann eine Nachricht, dass eure Stücke abgeholt werden können.

The goal of the workshop is to explore the material clay in a free and individual way.

You’ll get the chance to try out a bit of wheel throwing, hand-building, and—if you like—also paint your raw pieces with colored slip (engobe). We have three pottery wheels and six workstations available. Let your imagination run wild—there are no limits to what you can create!

Your finished pieces will be bisque-fired, then glazed with a transparent glaze, and finally fired again at 1240°C to become high-quality stoneware. A few days later, you’ll receive a message letting you know that your pieces are ready for pickup.
