What do we discover when we explore a place slowly and deliberately? Inspired by Anna Tsing's Arts of Noticing, we walk through the Otto-Wagner-Areal and the Steinhofgründe, following traces, materials, sounds and relations that are easily overlooked. Our impressions then become the starting point for textile experiments – screen printing, plant dyeing, resist techniques, painting on fabric and embroidery. No prior experience needed; the focus is on exploring together rather than finishing a piece.
