Laikka tears through the binary with genre fluid post pop that bends rules and breaks expectations. Expect a fever dream of experimental, glitchy electronics, oversized emotion and melodic hooks that hit like your first emo phase. Their music is a wild and energetic sonic journey that effortlessly combines weirdness and big drama with catchiness and a touch of pop melancholy and injects the effervescence of queer culture into every performance.

After the two albums “Morning Glow” (2021) and “Bleach” (2023) and a support tour for ÄTNA, they released their new album “I close my eyes, tomorrow” in autumn 2024 along with a release event in Flex Vienna. In 2025, Laikka were nominated for the Austrian Amadeus Music Awards and became part of the SHAPE+ program. At the moment, ​​they are working on their fourth studio album that is planned to be released late 2026.

However, Laikka’s artistic work is not only about musical development, but also about setting strong thematic accents and topics. One of their main concerns is to counter the prevailing gender stereotypes with powerful art. The band sees itself as proof of the transformative power of music and the limitless potential that lies in embracing one’s own true artistic identity. Interlacing a mélange of heavy metal fragments, hefty electronic dance music, reggaeton, and baile funk rhythms, the independent artist Enesi M. constitutes a sonic realm that proposes jouissance in defiance of traditional genre classifications. Born in São Paulo/Brazil, raised in Linz/Upper Austria, Enesi M.’s work as a vocalist, songwriter, producer and performer is informed by both her residency between Berlin and Vienna as well as their Brazilian and Cuban roots. A dauntless artist, Enesi M. marries abrasive guttural vocals, often but not only, precisely placed as ad-libs, with dashing rap flows and pop-adjacent singing. Her, and feature guests’ multilingual vocal parts, performed in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and German, reflect an overarching versatility and hybridity in Enesi’s music. While being a versed producer themselves, Enesi M. has increasingly collaborated with other producers such as Mother Cell’s Jack Brenner from New York, Leelee YOTP aka. Btchidiot from Los Angeles, as well as continuous collaborators Isasi Isasi from Berlin and DJ Nacht from Vienna, to name a few.

Enesi M. self-released her debut album DYSTOPIA in late 2023 followed by the EP Agrosuave in 2024 and her newest single Issues in 2025 (Auda Records).
